ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR
1) AISSEE – Dr Vishakha Sharma, Principal was entrusted with the responsibility of City Co-ordinator to conduct AISSEE 23 (District Kathua) (08 Jan 2023) by NTA under the Ministry of Education, Govt of India.
2) NEET UG 2023 – Dr Vishakha Sharma, Principal was entrusted with the responsibility of City Co-ordinator to conduct NEET UG 2023 (District Kathua) (07 May 2023)
3) 02 Boys & 03 Girls of APS Janglot are selected for National Level Archery Competition 2023.
4) APS Janglot NCC Girls Cadets Bagged Gold Medal In Various Sports Competition Of Basketball, Volleyball & Tug Of War Held At Catc Camp Nagrota.
5) APS Janglot bagged momento for the most disciplined school in the camp.
6) Ethics bowl competition 2023(19TH April to 21 April 23) held at APS Pathankot where APS Janglot won the Runner up Trophy
7) APS Janglot won RUNNERS UP OF THE INTER APS TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 09 CORPS CLUSTER-II HELD AT APS PATHANKOT.
8) APS Janglot bagged 2ND position in INTER APS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 09 CORPS CLUSTER-II ORGANIZED BY APS MAMUN.(20 AUG 2023)
9) Aps Janglot Principal Dr Vishakha Sharma has been appointed as a District Training Co-ordinator by the CBSE regional office Chandīgarh for district Kathua.
10) APS JANGLOT bagged 1ST & 2ND POSITION in 3RD District Kathua Yoga asana sports championship 2023-24 organized by district Kathua.
11) APS Janglot has been awarded the “COAS Trophy for Academic Excellence for the year 2023” for Class XII amongst large category schools at National level.
12) Dr Vishakha Sharma, Principal APS Janglot received the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 75,000/- (Rs Seventy Five Thousand only) on behalf of the school. The event took place on 13 Dec 2023, at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan.
13) In UT Level Competition, 02 students named Pragati Mishra under category Classical dance & Anshika Sharma under category Instrumental melodic are qualified for National Level Kala Utsav 2023.
Competition was held from 07 Jan 2023 to 14 Jan 2023 at Bal Bhawan, Delhi.
14) Mr Tanshu Sharma of APS Janglot has achieved a remarkable milestone by having his model of a Toy Aeroplane selected for Patent by the Govt of India.
15) APS Janglot NCC Cadet Master Maheshwar was selected for Netball Senior National which took place in Haryana Sonipath.
16) APS Janglot won 01 gold medal, 02 silver medal & 03 bronze medal in Skating Championship 2023-24 organized by Shri Sai Sports Academy Punj foundation.
17) APS JANGLOT NCC Boys participated in different competitions (Music, Tug of war & Dance) and won 05 gold medals at “ATC Level”.
18) Children Science Festival being organised by CSIR-IIIM; APS JANGLOT bagged 1st position in Science Quiz Competition 2023.
19) Children Science Festival being organised by CSIR-IIIM; APS JANGLOT bagged 2ND position in Science Model Competition 2023.
20) VVM State Level Competition was conducted at IIIM Jammu 03 Students of Aps Janglot selected
for National Level Competition 2023.
21) No of students joined reputed institutions & services: JEE(02) , NEET (03), NDA (01) & TES (02).
22) Principal participated in Project Carte Blanche: Phase-1 Inauguration, a joint venture of CBSE & AWES held at Banglore on 28 & 29 Apr 2023.
23) A Table Tennis Room has developed to enhance sports infrastructure for the students.
24) Archery as a sport included in the sports curriculum to provide multi-dimensional opportunities to the students.
25) Achievers’ gallery is developed in School Auditorium to motivate the students.
26) Cluster-II, 9 corps CSB was successfully organised first time at APS Janglot.
